Gujrat is situated between the Chenab and Jhelum rivers and marks the northern limits of the Punjab plains.120 km north of Lahore. The city is surrounded by many villages from which the local labour market is supplied. The major source of livelihood of Gujrat populace is agriculture.The present city, which lies on the site of a succession of earlier cities, developed around the fort built by the Mughal emperor Akbar in 1580. In 1867 it was incorporated as a municipality.
The Founder :
Mr. Nabi Buksh was laid the foundation of Sh.Nabi Bux in 1863 by opening a medicine shop for te people of Gurat,Later his sons ran this shop.After the independence in 1947 the company was registered as S.Nabi Buksh & Sons the business was extended to the fields of General Merchants shops, Cloth shops, by 1955-56 the company started making Electric Fans, presure cookers .Enamelled copper wire, and abrasive products.
Sh.Ghafoor Nabi (The present owner) provided a long 55 years in this Pharmacy
